Sounds very interesting. People rarely make charcters that were living in the Great Depression, so I think this little story will stand out from the rest.

Wow!! Those are some great ideas!! As far as what real vampires are though...it totally depends on what your talking about. I have a book all about vampires. And there are so many different beliefs...most of the stories we read today are just fantacised and overly romanticized. One of my favorite beliefs (not nessicarily favorite...more like...the one that I like because most people have never heard of it before.) is that vampires are bodies of dead people possessed by evil demons and they need to drink blood to sustain the life of the body. And they can't go in the light because it would either "drive away the demons" or people would see that it was a corpse walking around and then they would be killed by methods that we all know of...stake through the heart, garlic, ect. I'm not critisizing what your saying at all!! I don't have any intention of you taking it like that at all...just some interesting information I thought you might be interested in. If you had any questions at all...feel free to ask. I know a lot about the folklore revolving around vampires because of that book. It's pretty cool.
